Ecclesiastes 11:6 Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.

• There will always be a seed time and a harvest – sowing is a principle that God blesses.
• Often we are looking for immediate fruit or dividends, but one does not always know when and how the results come.
• We are not to sit around after sowing and do nothing, but to keep diligently working because we are not sure exactly how God will achieve His plans through our sowing or reaping.

Prayer:  Holy Spirit help me to stay diligent in sowing and to be glad to give and make sacrifices and also to expect a harvest.  Help me to always be diligent and not to idle in any way shape or form.  Thank You for Your word.  I praise You this morning.  Amen.

Exodus 23:25  Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,

• So easily we take for granted all the blessings and provisions and protection of our Lord.
• When we worship Him and put Him first in our lives we can look to Him for provision and healing.
• He will take away sickness – men have medical, but God supersedes all our abilities and does wonders.

Prayer:  Lord I look to You in this time that You will help us and deliver us in this nation from decease and the world from all sickness that You bring health back to this world and show great mercy and grace Lord.  I thank You for it in Jesus name.  Amen.

Matthew 10:14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.

• It was Jesus’s instruction that we focus on those that are receptive to what we share.
• We have a message within us and we ought to continually want to give it to those who want to receive it.  Often we don’t know until we give it who will receive.
• If there is a constant resistance we don’t need to keep pursuing it if they have heard it we can just move on to the next person that will receive it not wasting our energy on those that are not really interested in the gospel or yet ready for it.

Prayer:  Lord I commit myself to You today.  I ask Holy Spirit that You will guide me and make me effective in being a witness and a soul winner.  Lead me to someone today to witness and/or to lead them to the thrown of grace.  I am Yours Lord.  Amen.

Romans 4:19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead–since he was about a hundred years old–and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.

• It is not a lack of faith recognizing our situation the way it appears and seems to be.
• Gods truth is way above all the facts and what He has said is what will happen, regardless of what the facts are. 
• We do not get weakened in our faith because of our circumstances (the enemy is always trying to remind us so he can weaken our faith).

Prayer:  Hallelujah!  I praise You for Your faithfulness and Your greatness that You are able to do more than I can ask or think so I will not pay attention to my circumstances or what the devil says or reminds me of. I will put my confidence in You and You are a miracle worker.  Amen.

Psalms 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.

• If we knew what God was doing and understood all things, we would not need to trust Him.
• We depend upon Him completely, because He is our defense and just by His faithful and wonderful nature alone we can depend upon Him.
• Just because of who He is and His greatness we can be full of gladness and praise Him, regardless of how things seem.

Prayer:  Lord, I lift my hands in praise and thanksgiving to You today because You are the almighty God.  No matter what I am going through I trust in You, because You have never let me down.  I worship You.  Amen.

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

• When we commit and abandon our hearts to Him we can expect these things;
• Goodness and love to be a natural way of life without having to be pursued, just happen naturally.
• ‘Dwelling in Gods house’ is to always be with the Lord and continuously putting Him first and being a part of His kingdom, always in heart, mind and deed.

Prayer:  My Father I bless Your holy name today in praise and adoration and declare to You that I am Yours and totally devoted to You.  Thank You for Your kindness and mercy.  You are my shepherd and I do expect these things (goodness and mercy) to follow me.  Amen.

Song of Songs 6:3  He is within me—I am his garden of delight. I have him fully and now he fully has me!

• We were created to worship and love Him.
• We have been made in His image with His own DNA, His love for us is unlike any other love that He has for any of His other creation.
• We ought to belong to Him and our life’s journey should be one of growing and intimacy with Him.

Prayer:  My Father, how I thank You for Your salvation and Lord Jesus that You died for me.  I can not live without You and can not even entertain the thought of not walking with You.  Thank You for Your kindness and love to me through all these years.  I worship You and commit myself and my love towards You once again fresh today.  I love You with all my heart.  Amen.

Luke 14:26-27 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters–yes, even his own life–he cannot be my disciple. And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

• To follow after Jesus means that He gets first place in every way.
• To be His disciple means that He is our first love and all our decision making is based on that relationship.
• God wants us to have all these loved ones around us, but He wants to be first in every way so that we can be His disciples.

Prayer:  Lord Jesus I do choose in every way to be Your disciple. I commit my heart and my life to You.  I choose You above all and everyone and everything.  You are the love of my life and You loved me when no one else did. You always carried me and watched over me.  I praise You today and I sing a new song to You today because You are my Savior and my Lord that I follow.  Teach me Your ways I pray.  Amen.

Psalms 91:5-7  You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

• Many may be effected by different things, but we are safe because we trust in Him.
• There are things that are real like ‘terror of night’, but we are completely surrounded and protected by the Lord and His angels.
• Pestilence that stalks is almost unexpected often times and we have nothing to be afraid or concerned of, because the Lord is our helper.  

Prayer:   Thank You Lord that I can be safe in You today and not be concerned of what people say or how they react or what they do.  I am completely at peace in You. Amen.

Psalms 42:8 By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me– a prayer to the God of my life.

• Whether by day or by night, God is involved in our lives very deeply.
• His love is complete, unfailing, and He directs us all day in His love.
• We sing and praise Him after a day of experiencing His goodness, and bringing the evening sacrifice to Him.

Prayer:  How I praise Your holy name, that You love me and have done and still do so much for me. That I bring my praise to You continually I worship You.  There is no one like You Lord.  Hallelujah!  Amen.
