2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

• Troubles are no doubt around all of us.
• But for sure they are momentary and temporary.
• But they will achieve blessings for us at the end – what the enemy meant to harm us with is going to be designed by God to bless us and others. 

Prayer:  Lord I will not today be stressed or focussed on troubles.  I will bless Your Holy name and I will rejoice that You will turn all my troubles and difficulties into blessing and these will just be passing through and I will continue in Your glory.  Strengthen me I pray in Jesus name, fill my heart with Your words of praises and songs today because You are worthy of all my praise.  Amen.

John 17:15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.

• Jesus prayed for us that we would be safe.
• We were not to be taken out of the world, but rather be protected in it.
• The evil one is real and he is out to get us, but we have this prayer that shields us. 

Prayer:  Thank You Lord that You are my helper and my ever intercessor and watch over me that the evil one can not harm me. I feel safe in You today.  Amen.

Matthew 4:19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, 

• God wants us to have an attitude of ‘following’ – which means there is no knowing of what lays up ahead, just simply follow.
• It is an invite to all of us who will respond to Him and look to Him as a guide. 
• When we follow we don’t question we just yield and submit not knowing where we are going just complete trust.

Prayer:  Lord I do choose to follow You today in my heart and I want to walk with You and fellowship with You and know You.  You are my King and my Lord and Savior.

Mark 16:17-18  And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

• God has given us miraculous signs that by faith we have to apply.
• Demons and darkness will give way to us because we walk in authority that He gave us.
• We have a shield against snake poison and deadly poison that we might unknowingly consume.  We are safe against all germs because these are the signs that should accompany us as we believe.

Prayer:  Holy Spirit help me to continually believe and to walk in faith and not to allow fear to grip my soul through negative reports, but to focus on Your promises and to have this applied to my life that miracles will always happen, demons will flee and no harm will come to me in anyway shape or form.  I bless Your holy name.  Amen.

Luke 24:32  They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”

• So often in our business we can miss
  some of the most precious moments God has set for us to meet with Him or
  His agent (angels, Holy Ghost anointing, etc.).
• There is always a evidence of some kind if we will pay attention – the burning in their hearts.
• If we are watching and looking and
  expecting to meet with Him there will be many opportunities and
  occurrences where we see the Lords presence and evidence of Gods
  ministry to us.

Prayer:  Lord I do not want to miss any of those opportunities.  Help me to be alert Holy Spirit and mindful of Him.  Help me to not always be in such a hurry that I hurry pass some of those very important moments that You have set up for me.  Lead me Holy Spirit, I yield to You in Jesus name.  Amen.

Psalms 103:2 Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits–

• We command our natural mind, heart and soul to praise Him, because often we are focused on concerns.
• It is so easy to forget or to be distracted from all that we are blessed from by focusing on our burdens and concerns.
• We should recite and remind ourselves continually of all that God has and is doing – all His benefits!

Prayer:  Lord how I clap my hands in great joy thinking of all the things You have done and I have so much only because of Your greatness and mercy to me.  Holy Spirit I pray that You will keep me focused on these wonderful things and not the few negative things that the enemy tries to bring to my attention.  I praise and bless You and my soul worships You.  Amen.

Psalms 115:12-13 The Lord remembers us and will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel, he will bless the house of Aaron, he will bless those who fear the Lord– small and great alike.

• Let us not assess ourselves or by situations by what we go through, but rather by His word. 
• God never forgets and He is always going to take care of us, regardless even when we are less then good.
• We can expect Him to bless us, because He is a God that always prefers to do kind things and to bless rather than to curse or punish.

Prayer:  How grateful I am for Your goodness and Your mercy and Your salvation Lord.  Thank You that You bless me and my household and my family.  Help me to bless others and to be a blessing.  Amen.

Psalms 103:2-3  Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits– who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,

• We are not to get focused on the one negative thing or challenges, we need to see the bigger picture.
• We have so much to be grateful for and we ought not to forget all His benefits/blessings.
• He has forgiven every one of our sins and we can expect Him to heal every single sickness.  Hallelujah!

Prayer:  Holy Spirit help me not to focus on the challenges or difficulties or to be distracted from so many things that God has done for me and is doing for me.  Thank You for forgiving all of my sins and that I am healed in Your name.  I praise Your holy  name.  Amen.

Psalms 103:2 (Message Bible) O my soul, bless God, don’t forget a single blessing!

• So often when we are overwhelmed by life’s challenges we forget what the Lord has done.  
• It is better to recite what we do have rather than what we don’t have.
• It even promotes faith when we list and name one by one all that God has done and is doing.

Prayer:  Hallelujah!  I lift my hands up to praise You and to worship You because You have done so much and are doing so much for me and my household.  I count each blessing and I am naming them Lord, because the enemy wants to make me focussed on such small insignificant things.  I praise You for Your goodness.  Amen.

1 Thessalonians 5:10-11 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

• We are only passing through this life and it was designed for us to know Him as Lord for eternity.
• Once we are born again we have this wonderful assurance of always living with Him, whether we are alive in this body or not.
• It is to His joy and pleasure that we strengthen each other continually with this understanding that we are extremely blessed being saved and have a great future.

Prayer:  Lord I ask You to help me to encourage my brethren continually and to strengthen in their resolve to serve You and to follow after You and to not be discouraged by things of this world and obstacles that come our way.  We are indeed a privileged and blessed people.  Hallelujah. Amen.
