Ann Farabee is a writer, a columnist for the Faith section of the Salisbury Post, a ministry speaker, and has a passion for prison ministry and for those trapped in addiction. She has worked as a youth leader, in children’s ministry, Sunday School teacher, Praise Team leader, women’s ministry leader, and directs the drama team, ECHO, for Passion for Purity ministries.

   She has also taught 35+ years in Kannapolis City Schools and Mooresville Schools. During that time, she taught grades K-8, and worked as system-wide math coordinator in Grades K-4. She graduated from UNC-Charlotte, is a National Board Certified Teacher, has a Master’s Degree in Education, and has been Teacher of the Year and Time Warner Cable All-Star Teacher.

   She is a mother and a grandmother, and is married to Charles Farabee, who is a CPA in Kannapolis.

    Her passion is sharing her story with others to encourage and help strengthen them in their walk with Christ.
